Diana Hyslop

Diana Hyslop's career as a visual artist started in the 'eighties'. She began by taking part time art classes at the Johannesburg Art Foundation (JAF) while working as a production manager in the film industry. Soon she was studying full time at JAF under Bill Ainslie and working part-time in the industry.
During her career she worked at various studios: the Orchards Studios in Johannesburg, the Santa Monica art studios in California and, finally, the Bag Factory Studios (aka Fordsburg Studios) in Newtown, Johannesburg,  where she is currently a full time painter.
She has exhibited locally and abroad, her work in numerous prestigious collections and having also participated in international art workshops in South Africa, Botswana and Kenya.
