Trespass

trespass

Res Gallery is pleased to invite you to a collective exhibition with digital avant-garde artists nils eichberg, daniel hirschmann and olivier schildt.

trespass: “to encroach or creep, gradually, so that a footing is imperceptibly established”.

trespass is a show in which the use of digital imagery challenges the gap that exists between people’s comfort with digital image-reading and non-electronically produced art forms. through the tension or illusion of movement created by the works exhibited, the artists invite the viewer to creep into a different visual
understanding.

the renaissance of created digital imagery is everywhere: one no longer knows from where, or how, an image has been created.  as a result, the boundaries of perception are constantly challenged.  by trespassing beyond the borders of the known, the artists provide a gateway to a continuous path of appreciation of the digital medium.
